Mahindra is one of the oldest and is the largest selling tractor maker in the world, founded in 1945 and engaged in 18 different industries. Didn't they buy a car company in the G.B. from Ford? So where are they going? They will likely only get bigger in the U.S. when their value proposition is better known and the dealer network is wider. They already assemble and stock parts at several sites in the U.S. Several of the Japanese and Korean makers have been making machines for their local markets since the late 40s. Where would you suggest getting a sub compact tractor that is made in the U.S.? I'll answer for you... no where. The so called U.S. makers have been buying and rebranding them from the Japanese and Koreans for years. My little Mahindra was made in S. Korea by TYM (in business for over 60 yrs.) and the engine by Daedong (make the Kioti brand in the U.S. in business since 1947). These and Kubota saw a market that was not being served here and filled the demand. I see no problem with that.

Today's Featured Article - Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen. It has great power for its size and can really hunker down and lug. Classified as a 3-bottom plow depending on soil conditions.
