Some scammers send fake certified checks now that don't get caught until the bank has had them for a few day and I guess they finally get to the bank it's supposed to be drawn on and find out it's bad. I'm not sure a USPS money order or any paper document/check is a sure thing these days. And Pay-Pal, well, if I'm not mistaken he could go back to them and "open a dispute" claiming you didn't send him the saw or that it wasn't as represented and they'd then return his money and come looking to you to get it back. However, MoneyGram is as best as I can tell is a 100% sure thing. He sends you money--you pick it up and that's that. You got the cash. This is why scammers that want you to send them money always insist on it being sent by Moneygram. Once you send it--it's gone.
