Those people were not brought up with the word nostalgia in their vocabulary. When they got up in age their main concern was having enough money to keep the wolves away and making sure their kids didn't have to be put out financially because of them. my Grandparents and Parents were all the same way. It did just what they intended. They were happy 'til the end. It's their stuff and their life and I respected that. They never called the scrapper but did sell all. Most was gone long before they died so it isn't like we had no chance to get it. We weren't financially able to be "nostalgic" at the time.
