mkirch; I don't know the condition of the engine at this time. However, from information received from this forum, I put ATF in each spark plug hole, let it sit a few days. I noticed that the plugs were new, other new parts are on the motor. I took the starter off and checked it out, fine condition, tested out well. It appears that many new parts were put on the motor and it does not appear to have been started the first time. SO, as I get one thing done I will go to another and find out what awaits me. All you guys and gals on this forum are an absolute blessing to such as me. Thanks for all! walt
