The 830 Case Comfort King is a great tractor! They are very durable and quite simple and easy to work on. Parts for the most part are available through most CaseIH dealers, although, some are better at supplying them than others. What is it worth? Lots of variables there and the big ones are condition and location. I have seen them from 2k to 10k depending on condition where they are at. There are 2 different versions, the Caseomatic drive and the standard dry clutch. The Caseomatic uses a torque converter similar to an automatic transmission on a car. Generally, Caseomatic tractors will bring hundreds less than the same model with the dry clutch. There are several things to watch and look for on these. One is that they are prone to crack a head if the water is allowed to run low. Also, make sure to keep the hydralic oil full. They can seize the High range gear to the input shaft in the trans if they don't have proper lubrication. Best to be a gallon or 2 over full than low. I do agree with NY 986. I do believe they are one of the most undersung tractors of that late 60's era.
