The Force and Chrysler outboards are one in the same until Merc got involved and then they got better. If you want to make use of the 85 hp Force motor on your other boat rated for 70 hp it is not going to be a problem. Go for it. You will get more use out of it at that point than you will get out of it selling it. They just are not worth much. The old Chrysler hull you have in the condition it is in has no value honestly. Too much needed to make it seaworthy again. Pull the engine off of it and sell the engine by itself or use it on your other boat and scrap the Chrysler hull. Turn the trailer into a little utility to use on the farm and you are good. If you want to sell the 85 hp Force find out how old it is. Force was not around in the 70's, they were Chrysler back then. The name changed from Chrysler when they were bought out by Bayliner boats. They were a low cost engine to put on their boats. At one point Mercury owned the engine and was selling it as a tier 2 low coast engine. They upgraded them with Merc lower units and the Merc ignition systems. Bayliner was eventually bought by Brunswick (AMF). The good part of the Force engine was they very simple and easy to get parts for and made good low end power. They would not run with Merc or OMC in the top end, but were very reliable and easy to work on.
