A couple of days ago I posted with an issue of a hydro wheel unit getting too hot to work on a ZTR mower. Both wheel units have fans but I thought it should be blowing over the hydro not sucking air over it to cool.
Today I had some time so I pulled the plastic fan off of the left unit. Under the washer was written R.H. and a part number. I pulled out my parts manual and sure enough, someone had replaced the left fan with the wrong one at some point. I will call them on Monday and order a new one. No wonder the other mower worked completely different - it has the two fans it is supposed to not two of the same on either side.
