I used to get "wet" lime. You could have them bring you a load on a ten wheeler with spreader on the back with just regular tires. But they would never spread in the spring. I used to rent a six ton spreader, and get a full thirty three ton load. Being wet it would not blow away, and the spreader would fling it good and wide.
