Don't know if it will flip but I guarantee it will pick the front end up. The only good thing about it is the hand clutch is pulled back to disengage on the model I have. I learned to pull from some points under the front that are in the casting in reverse the worst thing I have had happen pulling that way is it will spin the wheels.
