This subject really makes you wonder what would happen in today's world with so much production being outside of the U.S. I know times are different and mass production of certain things wouldn't be as important in today's world, I just wonder what would it be like today.
What country or countries would hurt us a lot if we severed ties with and if we did could they maintain their own production/economy?
