Cant speak to a rake or tedder, but I had a Befco batwing finish mower, 12 feet wide, it was pretty stout. Had a few minor things I didnt like, but I did buy it used from a school district that ran it hard.
Frame was very sturdy, I covered close to 20acres a week. Tightened a few bolts once or twice and gear box seal. If they build the rakes like their batwings I wouldnt be afraid of it.
