Dennis Something not right, Guess we have sold over 300 of the 40 series and paint problems are not something I have had. We are in Tennessee and many tractors sit outside. Several years ago we got some wheels from titan that faded bad but as JD seller says the plastic sometimes looses some of it,s shine but for most part the metal stays as good as anybody else tractor. Get the owner of the dealership where you bought it involved, ask him to get his KUBOTA rep to look at it. KUBOTA is usually pretty good at responding to customer complaints.
