OK, using your logic: Driving a tractor-trailer: Using the company's equipment, fuel, toll money, etc. What should a driver be paid? Average driver makes over $40,000 a year or more under these conditions. That figures out to about $20/hour.
Working at McDonald's: Again, using their equipment, food, air conditioning in summer and heat in winter. Burger flipper makes around $9.00/hour.
Minimum wage for ANY worker in the USA is around $7.50/hour. Again, using the employer's equipment, fuel, etc.
Are you beginning to see the fault in your logic? How DARE you suggest that a working man work for $3 to $4 per hour?!?!?!?!?!?! Mr. Lincoln freed the slaves - and even they were better paid than you suggest.
