Restrictions on voting is nothing new or uncommon, many states require a government issue photo ID, including my home state, I cannot vote without it, I have any number of other ways to prove citizenship if that was all it took, but it's not, if the constitution gaurunteed my vote then these voter ID laws would have been struck down years ago or never enacted."
