I KNOW a whole lot of folks who live paycheck to paycheck. I've been there myself and it wasn't all that long ago. In fact, for most of my working life, I could not have come up with $400 dollars for any kind of emergency, or $300, or $200. Also, for most of my working life, I could not even afford a car payment.
