I have a lot of compassion for you who are too wet this year. Last year I had the second lowest corn yield I have had in the forty years I have farmed because of drown out and wet, sour ground. One corn field lost $200 per acre after crop insurance. This year the corn and beans look phenomenal in my little part of NW Iowa. I might be able to gain back the money I lost last year. The sweet corn is just beginning to pollinate and most of the stalks have double ears starting but I doubt if they will end up with mature double ears.
