if the deal is really that good...there is your money.
no restoring, just get all systems working well, clean it up, paint it up (no high $ paint job, just pay attention to detail and do a good job)
read any board here..everybody wants the diesel and they are worth more. after you are done with it, sell it and buy your gasser and pocket the difference.
I'm not a farmer, so I prefer gas myself. much easier and cheaper
to fix em up for sale/trade.

3000 diesel Ford with a brush-hog that was 'what's the catch' cheap.didn't last an hour on CL.
I was going to grab it, pretty it, sell it, and buy TWO gassers with the money..lol
