Hello, first post, great forum!
I have a 1926 Gotfredson farm truck with:
- 6v positive ground system
- internally grounded generator (no F terminal) with thermostatically controlled internal regulation (I think).
- Delco Remy generator model 941-F (3 brush)
- solid state cutout (no regulator)
How do I wire the amp meter and headlamp switch? How do I regulate the amps?
The cutout has a BAT and a ARM terminal. The ARM terminal on the cutout connects to the one single wire coming out of the generator (the A terminal).
Seems like the truck originally had a OFF, DIM, ON headlamp switch and a separate Magneto switch. Those were replaced with aftermarket pull knobs and the wiring needs to be redone.
