My drawbar snapped where it sits on the rear drawbar support bracket (T 21677) while using my batwing on a JD-2630. The 37 year old offset drawbar was rusty in the center while the top and bottom ¼" surfaces looked intact.Don't think it can be welded as it snapped exactly on top of the support bar and reinforcement steel would cause clearance problems plus all the implement weight is cantilevered on the hitch. Must have had stress crack on the sides of the drawbar? Would straight style be stronger than the offset? Are on-line type supplier/Rural King/TSC replacements any count or is best to use a replacement John Deere. Looking up part numbers there is 4 choices: T 25304, R 61126, T27969, T 21667.
