Went to line up the tractors for a nice picture of what gets the jobs done around here after a hard day in the heat, since everything's been running so nicely.
Got the oliver in place, ferguson in place, but drove the new holland about 10 feet and it completely died on me. Has fuel, has spark, runs on ether, fuel pump working. Then it managed to idle on no throttle and full choke, so my most faithful tractor has finally succumb to carb issues.
I figured 4/5 isn't bad, so I went and got my simplicity which I just rebuilt the carb on only a week ago and was running like a champ. Crank, crank, crank... Nothing. Shot some ether into it, and still nothing. Had spark, but wouldn't even run on ether.
What a way to ruin the end of an otherwise productive day.
