its that time of year again,to sow the turnip seed for fall got to get the plow out of the old shed The old fat guy is going to plow the patch the neighbors girlfriend planted some sweetpotatoes in the top corner,he was going to plant sweetcorn in the patch,but it is too late now for corn,so it will be the neighborhood turnip patch again. Dont have to go to the store for lunch,just pick and cook it. I dont have a harrow,I Borrow the neighbors its ready for seed here it is,,,the special seeder that the neighbors grandma gave to me now I walk back and fourth about 3 ft away from my last footprints ,shaking seed the whole time in the top corner .,grandma wanted some neckpumkins planted,,I made hills down to the end of the sweetpotato ]http://forums.yesterdaystractors.com/photos/25697.jpg[/img]you can see my footprints from where im standing taking the picture,down to the truck,is seeded in turnips,,,at the bottom I Planted some hills of squash Just shake the seed out,dont rake it or harrow it,,leave it alone till its time to pull some turnips,,,,if all goes well.,,,,Thanks for joining me in planting our neighborhood turnip patch...
