Years ago before ATM's, a buddy and I were at a beer tent after a tractor pull. Towards the end of a perfect beer drinking event we were one penny short between the two of us to buy one last beer which we would split. We gleaned the grass floor without luck looking for one lousy penny as the bar tenders insisted on full payment.BTW, the reason we were short, buddy announced he had no money after we arrived to entrance gate and I had to pay his way in$15/$20, which was big bucks in mid 70's. Pull was at Heart of Illinois Fair Peoria Il and things got really rowdy as evening was ending, which I later am glad we had to leave as we were broke. Punks/jerks were pushing occupied porta potty's over on their doors as we were walking out!
