The last time I went duck hunting, friend picked me up and we drove 100 miles before daylight, walked to a slough in the dark and sat there freezing waiting for the sun to come up so the ducks would come in. We got one lousy duck. Next time he wanted to go duck hunting, I told him that I was staying in my nice warm bed.
Didn't tell him that my wife refused to cook a wild duck if I brought one home and I wouldn't eat it if she did cook one.
