Like you, Jon and Mike, I fell for the cheaper ink ads for Kodak. I had mine set for the lowest quality prints and never used color. Once it got to a certain number of prints it shut down and refused to print until I installed a new cartridge. No fade out, streaks, or anything else. Then the kicker was I had to also replace the color cartridge to get it to print black and white even even though it was full. Kodak will never get another dime from me if I can help it. I now have an el cheapo Canon and am very pleased with it. The Kodak is in the landfill where it belongs. TDF
