Allan, did you come to the conclusion that the hydro is toast? I'm working on putting an input shaft in a 656 hydro right now, not the worst job in the world, but definitely not the easiest either...I can't imagine the extra work/nightmare yours would be with that cab. Maybe not too bad though, probably like a regular gear drive 86 series and just roll the rear end from under the cab? Good luck
