We almost never used to hear about condenser problems but today it's common and a weak condenser will make a two lunger act like it's running lean. A weak spark needs a richer mixture and choking lowers the cylinder compression a bit, allowing a weak spark to still do the job though modestly. If the fuel has water it will show up in the sediment bowl. If you have any residual water after flushing it will be in the sediment bowl in a short time if you use regular gas. Otherwise you can use ethanol to emulsify it and burn that water in the engine as long as there isn't gobs of water still in the tank.
