The wife got a new lap top earlier this summer. The keyboard started acting up last night,she called customer support this morning,got a human after about half an hour. Wasn't much they could do over the phone,although they tried. It's under warranty,no problem there,but she'd have to send it in. They told her she'd have to send it UPS or FedEx,said they wouldn't accept it if she sent it US Postal Service. Of course she asked why not. They said USPS was too rough on packages. You wouldn't think they could even do something like that,but apparently they can. Kinda like places that won't take cash,even though it says right on the bills "For all debts public and private".

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
