I got a call from a neighbor last night that she saw a piglet on the blacktop a mile south. I quick ran to the sheds and counted - all here. I called her back and she said it looked just like mine.
I'm the only producer in the 10 mile area - although I'm pretty sure it's the county. In these few sections I know everyone. No one around here raises any cause they all buy from me. Especially this time of year! I got to worrying it was the start of feral hogs but she said it looked like a Hamp. I told her to shoot it if she sees it because it will be a feral sooner rather than later.
Now I'm worrying about feral hogs. How close are they to Ottawa/Lawrence Ks?
