I remember a while back someone had mentioned about sealing up a sliding door on a building. Ive been working on insulating the slide door on my shop. Have the bottom and top yet to do. Have it insulated with foam board, (inside the metal rails as well), 2 1/2" thick and lined with plastic wall panels for the finish. Going to use some garage door seals on the top and finish the side edges with foam tape or a garage door bottom seal. Still working on that. Kind of a "figure it out along the way what works best thing" lol.
