Feedback on eBay is very important to sellers. Most buyers will not wade through hundreds of positive feedbacks to evaluate a seller. They will look for the negatives and neutrals. After all, if a buyer is satisfied, what more is there to say? I am more interested in the problem transactions to see what kind of problems came up and how the seller dealt with them.
I have been buying on eBay for over 10 years. I have had maybe 3 or 4 problems, but only got burned once. Guy misrepresented a coin, and after going back and forth for a couple of weeks, I got tired of the whole thing and just let it go. Got nicked for about $35 on that one. But that was the ONLY time in hundreds of transactions. Most sellers will go out of their way to make sure that you are a satisfied customer. Negative feedback is very damaging to a seller. I would not leave a negative feedback unless it was really deserved.
