4 years my daughter moved from my area code to another and she kept same # including area code. Then a year ago she moved to yet another area code and still has the same # she had when lived here. Cell phones and internet phones have changed the way things work. I have a Google Hangout account with Google+ and I have an area code over 1,000 miles away from me. If you happen to live there and I call you, you would think you was getting a local call. On the reverse I call someone in my little town and they think I am calling from 1,000 miles away. Crazy, aint it?
