I got one from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be "Windows support" and my computer had a virus and I had to log on and give him access so he could fix it for me. I called him a lying scammer, he kept on insisting he was Windows customer support and I had a virus. After about the third try I told him that I knew he was a scammer because Windows support isn't going to fix an Apple computer (don't have an Apple but he didn't know that) he hung up.
I have been known to answer the phone when the phone number is unknown to me with "Hancock County District Attorney's Office fraud investigation division"
I suppose with all the worries about terrorism I should develop a new scam where I try to convince the scammer I'm with ISIS and we can't plan operations over the phone because Homeland Security is listening, but the plan is a go and the items are being sent to you by Fed-Ex but only sign for the packages if the driver is wearing brown tinted sunglasses, if he isn't it's a plant.
