Yup, sure did and it doesn't bother my conscience one bit. If I'm going to pay good money for a course, the course should not have the keypunch requirement unless they have sufficient machines to serve the students. Two machines for three classes is very short sighted.
As an aside, the Wisconsin Dept. of Transportation had twenty or so KP machines in one room. All of the operators were deaf or severely hard of hearing. The supervisor was the only person with normal hearing. Had to go into that room once and I quickly understood why the operators had to have hearing problems. The noise was so loud that someone with normal hearing would be impaired in short order. Sounded like a flock of chickens at feeding time. Only a whole lot louder.
