This irritates me a little. Some day we will be old and forgetful. My dad used to be very sharp minded, especially with money. But today he is 91 and the sharpness isn't there any more. Yesterday, for the zillionth time I had to go to his house to help explain the thermostat. It has an up button and a down button for temp. That's it, but he gets confused. Now on the other hand, start talking money with him and he suddenly brightens up. My step mother is 92 and not as sharp either but she still understands the thermostat. Dad doesn't think she does so he calls me. Just part of getting old.
