I go to lots of auctions and there does not seem to be a big problem with trash. It is a problem in our remote rural areas as well. We live just short of 2 miles from a state highway, on a country sanded road. Had very little problem with trash on the 2 mile stretch until new neighbors moved in a couple of years ago. Immediately noticed lots of trash on road. We usually keep "our" road policed up. Seems lady neighbor works in town and grabs stuff from drive-thru on way home. Even found several sacks with her name on them, so there is no doubt who is the culprit. Soda and beer cans are found everywhere and we keep them picked up as best we can. Just don't understand some peoples mentality.
