I'd be darned afraid the owner would come looking for it. If it was in my field,the drug dealer or whoever left it there,I'm sure could find out who owned the land and that would be the first person they'd come looking for. If it was in an old car or something,that might be different,depending on how I got the car. I'd want to look at the dates on the bills and see how old they were. Stashing it in a fireproof box in a crawl space and just spending a little bit at a time sounds like a good plan though. Take a trip,pay cash all along the way,I could do that.
