You need the meters that have both mounting surfaces flat to each other. The later JD boxes, 7200 an up, take a meter that has the mountings surfaces at an angle to each other. The Kinze meters will work in the JD planters if you have the 7000 plate less planter units. I do not think Kinze ever made the angled mounting surface. That was one of the changes JD did after the suit between them and Kinze.
