Used to, never upgraded my equipment, it was a lot of fun at different times, depending on weather and snow. I liked Purgatory, Wolf Creek and Telluride when in Colorado. You can have a blast just taking the easy trails, my double diamond days are more than likely over. Spring conditions, outside BBQ mid to end of day, was always a lot of fun. It did get expensive over the years. You would be surprised at the age of some skiers. I went to a 10th HS reunion way back when, and one of the faculty that my father actually had in the early 50's, graduated from HS in '33 or so. He was still skiing in his 80's! He and another, (they were christian brothers of the FSC dialect), it was great to hear that both of them were still at it, one actually ran the school ski trips. There were some kooks on the faculty in that school, but these 2 were certainly not. One lived to 98 years of age. Both were fine educators throughout their careers.
