The overnight freeze Friday night brought on another run of sap. Today we had lots of help. Some extra family members, wives, kids, girlfriends and neighbors. We had two gathering crews and gathered just over 3000gal of sap by 1:30pm Filled all the storage and both the gathering tanks. Going to be another late night/early morning for the boiling crew. We couldent gather all the woods to day. The evaporators can't keep up. I tried a couple of pics of the evaporators, but the steam was really thick today in the saphouse. There is probably another 1500gals in the woods that we couldn't get, so tomarrow we will gather that. We've made a big dent in the wood supply. It's suppose to cool off towards the end of the comming week, so maybe the season will continue on a bit afterall. Loren
