JerryS- LOL!, I trap for the fur market and do encounter PePe often. Up close and personal.
My son was even extracting the 'juice' from the glands and the pressure he used caused the 'gland' to spray him in the face/mouth. He spit it out and gagged for a minute, then we both laughed and continued skinning.
No problems with the smell.
BTW, did you know that we sell the skunk 'juice' to perfume makers? Also, we sell fox urine to them for the base of their cosmetics?
