What were you doing that gave a nine year old second thoughts? I have a few friends that are a bit "accident prone". They always have a great story to tell, some could rival a Patrick McManus book: like the one time "Forgetting to secure the tilt tongue on a trailer and then watched an ice fishing house slide across the oncoming lane in front of a Highway Patrolman". They have a great time until something breaks or someone gets hurt, so I've learned not to participate in their adventures.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
