1st screw clutch pedal stop bolt all the way in or remove, then depress pedal and listen for eng to "lunge". Could be pedal adjustment causing gear grinding. Case powershift tractors shift gears better at higher eng speeds. 2nd Make sure clutch is returning fully upward. 3rd with eng at idle time raising 3pt in each powershift range. My guess hitch raises good in 1st, slower in 2nd, and won't attempt to raise in 3rd. If you have those results, time for a split and rebuild of powershift w/prob 6 bolt that hold C2/C3 hubs together are broken.
