To all the Farmall folks out there.
Been about 3 years since on the forum. You were such a big help through a Super A restoration years ago.
I have now ended up with a Super M 1954 that now runs well and has few leaks and preparing for restoration.
I have a few questions that I have not been able to discover the answers to.
1) Can someone give me some information regarding the heavy duty hook or attachment with pin up under the transmission. What type of implement attached here? I've seen pictures of plows and all on the front but what goes here and how does it attach. Would love to see some pictures.
2) Also have hydraulics working, I have auxiliary valve but it leaks down. Is there rebuild kits available for the valve or the hydraulic reservoir with check valves under the tank.
3) I'm also wanting to rework or remove the belt drive. What is involved there. is there a rebuild kit for it? Can it just be removed and replaced with a cover plate?
Thanks guys this is going to be a fun journey. This is a man of a tractor. I can't image what it was like in 1954 to put up the team of tractors and jump on this thing and plow all day.

From the engine number, it was found that the major was produced late 19
