Correct spelling, correct usage of words (words mean things), correct punctuation, etc., can help increase the understanding of ideas. For example, Jack and his horse. If Jack is elderly, or for whatever reason needs assistance to dismount his horse, most people would aid him. But if Jack and his horse are perverts, well, they are on their own.
