My Ford 9000 has a double disc clutch which was supposed to be all ready adjusted and ready to install when I received it. After installation it did not want to release completely so it is tough to get into gear and it grinds until the gears slip together. I took it apart again and checked clearances and in stalled new clutch release shaft bushings, but it helped very little. I am convinced that I need to shim the housing away from the flywheel a little but I don't know how much. Ideas?
