I never said I support a ban on guns, but I do believe that everything from assault weapons to nuclear weapons would have been something the writers of the constitution could not have been prepared for. Men have always been innovative and surprisingly efficient at killing each other. And you are right, if I remember when I was young someone in Texas climbed a tower and shot several people, as well as Richard Speak,[ I think that is the right name] murderd about 8 nurses with a knife. I still think we can have a discussion and look for solutions without everyone trying to make the other side out as communists or dictators or immoral because they do not agree with us. Like it or not, this nation was built on compromise and dealmaking.
