A couple of things to remember about RockAuto. You CAN save money with them...but you must compare your costs with a few other suppliers to be sure. One other supplier is Amazon. When you order a few items from RA, try to make sure that all of your purchases come from the same warehouse. RA could ship from several places, and when they do, you will have two (or more) separate shipping charges. ALWAYS compare your order to Amazon. Sometimes you can save some money with RA, sometimes it can be cheaper to get the same item from Amazon at a cheaper price, especially if you are an Amazon Prime member where you get free shipping. Also remember that closeout items from RA can save you money, but sometimes their closeout items might be 20 years old. Which isn't a bad thing if you order a brake rotor, but a 20 year old oil filter might be dried out. BTW, the last time I ordered a big ticket item from RA, it was a rebuilt engine. The price to my door, shipping included, was $1650. The exact same item from Amazon was $2300. However, that does not guarantee that RA is always cheaper.

It was on one such Saturday in the early 1940's when Sam was 16 years old that he ended up in Dennison, Kansas to watch a demonstration of a new tractor being put on by a local dealer.
