We just home from the hospital. I got a frantic call from the wife, her mother who lives with us, fell. She was reaching for a toothpick when no one was watching and tipped her chair over. When I got there she was on the floor complaining about pain in her hip and shoulder. Ambulance took her to the hospital where they bypassed the xrays and went right to the ct-scan. Hip is bruised but okay. Her collar bone is broke though. So they pumped her full of pain and anti-nausea meds, arm in a sling, and sent us home. She's 91.
