Yes I've heard of it. My youngest son does it. For a person living in town it's a cheap way to work most of their bodies. He drags one with a rope, gets it up and down and beats on it with a 20 pound sledge hammer. Works at it about 1/2 hour. I can see where it gives a good overall body workout. I was kinda skeptical at first but after doing physical training in the Army for 20 years it actually makes more sense than what we did. You use all of the muscles that you would normally work out and others that most work out programs miss. Like the ones in your upper back from swinging that hammer. So it isn't a dumb as it sounds at first plus it saves money not having to pay for a gym membership.
