Yes you can delete dual power, simply using the shaft from the same tractor that doesn't come with it. Maybe you could put the word out and seek a swap. Like welding man said, and of course you already know you could fix it. My 9000 had none, so I bought a used one, repaired it and put it in. It was not difficult, and I didn't need all the special tools. It is mainly just cleaning and seals, which you can buy at your local bearing store for 1/8 what they cost from Fiat.
